Pizza poll

I've just added a poll. Which pizza is better, dominos or four star? Vote now! (Polls close at the end of the year).

Go Dominos! (Not being biased or anything :P)

Left 4 Dead

New co-op Game which came out on Friday, unfortunately I missed the download window for the demo, so I havn't gotton my hands on it yet, but from the trailers and gameplay videos I have seen, it looks like it will be on my christmas list this year! The basic story line is that you are one of a group of four survivors of a zombie apocolypse, two weeks after the zombie infection breakout. You are constantly trying to escape to the next point of safety, and working co-operatively with your three team-mates, you have your work cut out for you.

The enemy is controlled by an advanced AI controller, which measures how well you are doing, and reacts accordingly to keep the game fresh and fun to play. For example, if you are mowing down waves of zombies effortlessly, the game's AI cranks up the amount of zombies and their intelligence. Conversely if you just got your asses handed to you several times on a platter, the game takes it a little bit easier on you. Your 3 team-mates can be controlled by AI, which are supposed to be able to hold their own up until the final level, where they are generally lacking, or so I've heard. But to really enjoy this game, you will need to play it with some friends, and work closely with them to stay alive throughout the game.

Gears 2 and GH: World Tour out today!

Gears of war 2, the highly anticipated (And probably over-hyped) sequel to the xbox 360's first recognized 'good' game, is out today, Friday 7th November 08. Since the game is a sequel and is expected to sell millions, it will more than likely be 'dumbed down' for the masses, and feature numerous gimicks and a very low difficulty rating... I'll let you know if that's true or not when I play it!

Another anticipated game, Guitar Hero: World Tour was released today, and has received mostly positive reviews from what I've read so far. It expands on the guitar hero series by adding a drum controller, a microphone for a singer, and a new and improved guitar controller, featuring a touch-pad for slides. I think that this game comes out with high expectations, and I really think that it won't dissapoint! But again, I'll let you know after I play it if it's worth buying or not. It's also worth noting that all of the rockband peripherals (Drums/mic/guitar) work with GH:World Tour, so you don't have to fork out the enormous piles of cash a second time if you have already bought the rockband set!
